About me

Nathalie Bertrams is a print and photo journalist who works mainly across Africa. Her work has been published by The Guardian, Süddeutsche Zeitung, New Internationalist, Al Jazeera, Mail & Guardian, PRI among others. A grantee of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, Kunstfonds Foundation and Free Press Unlimited, she received the EU Lorenzo Natali Media Prize 2015. Nathalie holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany and is a member of Frontline Freelance Register and Women Photograph.
