Last week, I was awarded the Lorenzo Natali Media Prize 2015 of the European Commission for outstanding reporting on development. It is a great honour to be among the nine winners chosen out of more than 1400 submissions. My article was on sustainable gold mining in Mozambique, published by the weekly newspaper Mail & Guardian in South Africa.
